The Planning Director shall serve as Secretary to the <br /> Planning Board.' <br /> ARTICLE VII E. Each member of the Board shall vote yes or no. Members not <br /> voting shall be counted as voting in the affirmative except <br /> as specified in 1 above. The Chair shall be a voting member <br /> of the Board. <br /> ARTICLE IX. Add at the end of the paragraph...The Board of County <br /> Commissioners shall approve all amendments to the Rules <br /> and Procedures. <br /> The Planning Board, at their meeting November 15, 1982, indicated it would <br /> appreciate the opportunity to discuss these proposed changes to the By-Laws. <br /> MPACT: Some members of the Planning Board felt that there was a need to retain an <br /> abstention in the voting section of the By-Laws. There was also somd discussion <br /> concerning the Planning Board appointing their own Secretary and the need for <br /> the Board of Commissioners to approve the Planning Board By-Laws. <br /> 4 <br />
