Murphy <br /> 11/12/82 - Page 3 <br /> Consider also the time and effort we have put into our improving our county <br /> government$ t1rough Community Development Block Grant (CDBC) and Payments- <br /> in-Lieu of Ta es (PILT). We must work together again in 1983 to assure the <br /> reauthorization of these programs, as well. <br /> Each county cahoot do this job alone. But there is little doubt that together <br /> we can achievM these goals, and much more -- to improve county government and <br /> services to our citizens in each of our 3105 counties throughout the country. <br /> This is why wel began 35 years ago -- and this is why it is vital that we <br /> continue. <br /> ' 1 <br /> The strength o this organization continues to be the people who are pledged <br /> to carry it forward.
