L The name and mailing address of the seller or grantor. <br /> 2. Any person providing false or misleading information in the <br /> process of recording a deed or other instrument of <br /> conveyance to either the Orange County Tax Supervisor or <br /> the Orange County Register of Deeds shall be guilty of a <br /> misclemennor and upon conviction or a plea of guilty to <br /> such a violation shall be punished as provided in N.C. Oen, <br /> Stat, Section 14-4. <br /> B Any person convicted of or upon a plea of guilty to n <br /> violation of the requirements of this ordinance shall further <br /> be liable to Orange County in the amount of $100:00 as a <br /> civil penalty to defray the cost to Orange County of <br /> determining the correct information sought by this <br /> ordinance. Payment of this civil penalty shall be made to <br /> Orange County within thirty (30) days of the date of <br /> conviction or plea of guilty. Upon the expiration of this <br /> thirty day period and the failure by the person liable <br /> hereunder to pay the $100.00 civil penalty, the same shall <br /> -2- <br />
