AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE THE ORANGE COUNTY <br /> TA SUPERVISOR AID IN THE LISTING AND VALUATION <br /> OF REAL PROPERTY <br /> THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF ORANGE COUNTY, <br /> NORTH CAROLINA ORDAINS: <br /> Section I. Purpose. <br /> in the public Interest and to facilitate the accurate listing and <br /> valuation o real property in Orange County, the following rules and <br /> regulations are adopted pursuant to the authority contained in N.C. Gen. <br /> Stat. Section 1n5-2!6 (g) rind Section 105-303(a)(2). <br /> Section II. Procedure to Record Instruments of Conveyance. <br /> A. No deed or other instrument of conveyance (other than a <br /> deed of trust or mortgage) may be recorded by the Orange <br /> County Register of Deeds unless it has been previously <br /> presented to the Orange County Tax Supervisor and the Tax <br /> Supervisor' has noted thereon that he has obtained the <br /> information he desires from the conveyance and from the <br /> person recording it. <br /> BJ The Tax Supervisor shall obtain the following information <br /> from the conveyance or from the person recording it before <br /> he can make the notation required in Section II A: <br />
