Interest of Members of COG and Others. No officer, <br /> member or employee of COG, and no public official or any local <br /> governmen which is affected in any way by the Project, who <br /> exercises any function or responsibilities in the review or <br /> approval of the Project or any component part thereof, shall <br /> w <br /> participa a in any decibion relating to this contract which <br /> affects his personal interest or the interest of any corporation <br /> parnership or association in which he is, directly or indirectly <br /> interested; nor shall any such officer, member or employee of <br /> COG, or public official, of any local government affected by <br /> the Project, have any interest, direct or. indirect, in this <br /> contract or the proceeds arising therefrom. <br /> 19. Officials not to Benefit. No member of or delegate <br /> to the Congress of the United States of America, resident <br /> Commissioner or employee of the United States Government, <br /> shall be Idmitted to any share or part of this contract or <br /> to any benefits to arise herefrom. <br /> 20. E ual Em to ent 222ortunity. <br /> (a) The Agency will not discriminate against <br /> any employee, applicant for employment or subcontractor <br /> because of race; color, religion, sex or national. origin. <br /> The Agency shall take affirmative action to insure that <br /> applicant are employed and subcontractors are selected, and <br /> that employees are treated during employment, without regard <br /> to their race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
