. �� � <br /> ' �� CD;ZzE CCk_1_NrzT <br /> 0 2 <br /> Subja-c—t: Action on Contract with Triangle J Council of Governments for <br /> Title III~B and State 1n-Home Aging Services <br /> ' --- <br /> on Aging <br /> Con tract Jerry Passmore <br /> _ <br /> ~ ^ . <br /> Commissioners need to take action on a nine-month contract with <br /> Triangle J Council of Governments for Title II[-0 and State <br /> In-Home Aging Services , effective October I , 1982 - June 30 . <br /> 1983 in the amount of $68,901. <br /> _ <br /> This is a yearly continuation contract covering the following <br /> services which are part of the Department on Aging /s budget: <br /> Transportation , Information and Referral , Romamuka. r-Home Health <br /> Aide , Senior Center Operation , Outreach, Legal Aid, and Special <br /> State in-Hume Chnre~Handthelper. The amount of funds allocated <br /> . to specific services is based on COG priority ranking of Aging <br /> services in Orange County as well as DVA's . All services were <br /> ranked to be the highest or high priority except outreach and <br /> legal . <br /> If approved, required County matching funds (522,677 cash) would <br /> remain approximately the same as last year (S22,595 cash) for a <br /> nine-month pro rated contract basis. Action will not require <br /> any additional county matching funds than approved in the current <br /> Department on Aging budget. Beginning July I, 1983, a renewal <br /> contract will he for u 12~month period. <br /> ' <br /> Department staff recommends approval .
