At the State level, some underutilized low income energy assistance fund <br /> are being transferred to the NCH Block Grant, We can obtain $12,736 via <br /> filling out a Family Planning budget amendment. <br /> B. The funds can not be spent on personnel but can be spent in family <br /> planning operations and/or equipment, <br /> C. At the August 26, 1982 Board of Health meeting, the Health Director re , <br /> commended that the funds be uses to purchase equipment from the miV <br /> years accumulation of unfunded equipment needs, The Board of Healt <br /> voted to recommend such use to the Commissioners, <br /> D. Subsequently, the Manager met with the Health Board Chairman and C. <br /> Director and advocated all the grant be used to offset a $33,5M <br /> in local funds to family planning this fiscal year due to federal <br /> reductions. <br /> E.
