Some of the recommendations of the Hater Task Force <br /> Report have` already been adopted and others will be discussed at this <br /> meeting. <br /> 'Previous Planning Board recommendations were to delay application of <br /> zoning to Cheeks Township. These recommendations were made on <br /> December 30, 1980 and October 19, lgDl. <br /> Zoning is a means of property protection either within or outside of <br /> a woteohed It enables growth to take place in those areas that are <br /> best suited to handle it. Moreover, it permits a blending of new land <br /> uses with those already in existence, <br /> Cheeks Township contains watersheds whiCh are the sources of drinkable <br /> water supply. Zoning would provide an adetional means. nf protection <br /> for these watersheds. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): <br /> As the Board decides. <br />
