PR0CLANATlVN ' ' <br /> WHEREAS, THE North Carolina Departme�C of Transportation has designated <br /> September 13-17 "Clean Up Litter Week" on North Carolina highways; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, THE Orange County Board of Commissioners recognizes the benefits <br /> derived to the County when the highways and streets in the County <br /> are litter free; and, <br /> WHEREAS, THE Board of Commissioners recognizes the negative impact on visitos <br /> and citizens when litter is permitted to accumulate; and, <br /> WHEREAS, THE Board of Commissioners wishes to encourage and endorse the concept <br /> of "Clean Up Litter Week;" <br /> NON, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED THAT THE ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF CDOMlS5IONEKS <br /> DOES HLi'!F8Y DESIGNATE SEPTEMBER 13-17 CLEAN UP LITTER WEEK IN <br /> ORANGE COVHTY, <br /> BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the Board of Commissioners encourages all citizens <br /> of Orange County to participate in Clean Up Litter activities in <br /> their oaiqhbvrhonds. <br /> THIS, the day of August, 1982. <br /> Richard E.
