Phpn- mcmbez: 732-9361 ext. 460 <br /> PUFPCSE; To oondder authorizing the filling of a grant application to continue <br /> CETA's major program effort in job placement and job training. <br /> NEED: The Division of Employment and Training analyzes and quantifies the needs <br /> of the County and makes a grant offer based upon these subject to the <br /> availability of funds. Tentative amount for the coming year (October l , <br /> 1982 to September 30, 1983) is $278,000. This includes the payments to <br /> Orange County citizens for adult basic education and those on individual <br /> job referral which the Raleigh Office of DET administers. <br /> The County's application must be submitted by August 24, 1982. <br /> - <br /> ItPACc: Will provide education/work experience for over 100 citizens and job <br /> placement for another 75. <br /> !ECOMHEM04TlDN(S) ' <br /> Approve grant submission. <br />
