:'� <br /> '0 �� �~ '�i�` ' , ' <br /> �=`'^�r��`'��"*.w���-. r ~^ ' �'- ' ' ' '` ' -- <br /> ' - <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> NORTH Q4ROLDA <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> THIS ATEMENT made and entered into effective the first day of <br /> July, 1982 bY and between the ORANGE-PERSON-CHATHAM MENTAL HEALTH CENTER, <br /> hereinafter Call "Center" and the COALITION FOR BATTERED WOMEN, herein- <br /> after called "Coalition"' This agreement shall be administered on behalf <br /> of Orange County by the Center pursuant to the direction of the Orange <br /> County Board of Commissioners. <br /> WITNESSETK <br /> WHEREAS the Coalition provides services to women who have been abused <br /> or who are likely to be and <br /> WHEREAS Orange County has determined that it is in the best interests <br /> of citizens of Orange County that said program be partially supported by <br /> Orange County and thereby be accessible to the residents of the county. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the aforesaid and the mutual cove- <br /> nants and conditions hereafter set forth, Center and the Coalition agree <br /> as follows; <br /> 1. County Support, Orange County will expend from its appropri- <br /> ation for tte support of the Coalition the sum of five thousand and five <br /> hundred dol ars ($5,500) for the period of July l , 1982 to June 30, 1083' <br /> 2. Payment and Documentation. The funds shall be paid in four equal <br /> quarterly i stallments, within the first sixteen days of each quarter. The <br /> second payment and ensuing payments are contingent upon receiving satis- <br /> factory docimentation and accounting of expenditures and receipts for the <br /> preceding quarter. The Coalition will also furnish to the Center a program <br /> report shnw ng progress toward meeting the agreed upon objectives, <br /> �� <br /> , <br />
