C. <br /> Dear Joe, <br /> In accordance with the sub-surface exploration as prepared by <br /> Froehling x Robertson, inc. and your instructions, we offer our proposal <br /> to remove approximately 3' of soil under the proposed slab, remove the <br /> soil that was excavated for the footing (cost of excavation for footing <br /> is not included in this proposal), fill the excavation with a wash stone <br /> under the supervision of the testing laboratory for the lump sum of <br /> $6,250.00. <br /> The sequence of the excavation and backfilling is as follows: <br /> 1. Remove approximately 3' of the existing soil from the <br /> building using skid loader to the exterior of the building. <br /> 2. The footings to be excavated according to the requirements <br /> of the contract. <br /> 3. The concrete footings to be placed and the foundation walls <br /> installed. <br /> 4. The foundation walls to be hackfi||ed and sub-grade back- <br /> filled using 3/4" wash stone. <br /> 5. Construction to proceed according to contractual ranuircmentv. <br /> Listed below is a breakdown of this proposal: <br /> l. Excavate from building by Roy Wilkerson using <br /> John Deere 350 loader: $ 880.0O <br /> 2. Bobcat with backhoe to assist loader: 75.00 <br />
