AS general comment Griggs indicated the anxiety of both fire- <br /> fighters and Board membersmith regard to the proposal citing the Company <br /> Was organized to defend residential uses. He referenced the contactual <br /> agreenerctwith the Board of County Commissioners to provide fire protection <br /> to all uses1 and the considerable elevation of responsibilities and capa- <br /> bilities suggested by this project. Griggs specified the five Board <br /> concerns and recommendations: 1) Water Availability - The required 30,000 <br /> gallon capacity could be provided by ponds serving as drainage areas and <br /> supplementafFwells in dry VATher. He asked that these treasures be guaran- <br /> teed prior po permitting. 2) Water Mbvement - Griggs noted the need for <br /> all weather access' dry hydrants and tanks and pumps necessary al apparatus <br /> for shueing water to hangars. 3) The need for a high expansion phone <br /> to be supplied by project. 4) Griggs specified a number of safety features <br /> in the hangars. 5) The provision of an access road off Teer Road is needed <br /> (riven the recent air crash in a remote area. <br />
