Laws <br /> ph=e NL%zter 732-9361 ext#503 <br /> 1?t1L"�Se: To authorize the Manager to enter into a lease with the Town of Chapel Hill <br /> for 2,900 sq. ft., of the former Police building over a three (3) year period <br /> under the attached terms and conditions. The Town of Chapel Hill as already <br /> agreed to in the proposed lease, <br /> .7eed- The County has need for three offices in the Chapel Hill area; the Sheriff's <br /> Department, the Dt ver's License Bureau and the Court Probation Offices. <br /> The Sheriff's Department is presently located in the former Police building <br /> and will be forced to vacate if a lease is not agreed to; the Di.ivet"s Bureau <br /> lease will expire September 15, 1982; and the Court Probations offices' <br /> space has just experienced a considerable rent experience. <br /> Approval of the lease will result in saving the County a minimum of $1,900 <br /> in rent for FY 82-83 and $7,000 per year in the remaining two years of the <br /> lease. <br /> ".4p—,,t:-,r-w4aticn Is) t <br /> Authorize Manager to enter into lease. <br />
