Thompson <br /> 0ne.contmut (they are identical except Phone 1/mber; 732-8181 ext. 50 <br /> for ' - --- — - <br /> ' below) <br /> PURPOSE: To enter into contract for fire protection for Southern Triangle and <br /> Damascus Fire Districts with the North Chatham Volunteer Fire —Department, <br /> NEED: The Southern Triangle Fire District and the Damascus Fire District, <br /> contingent upon the results of the 6/29/82 referendum, need to enter <br /> an agreement with a provider for fire protection. <br /> An agreement has been reached with the North Chatham Volunteer Fire <br /> Department to provide services for$12,000 for Southern Triangle and <br /> $3,000 for Damascus Fire Districts. <br /> ^ These amounts are based on tax rates of .04 and '04 for Southern <br /> Triangle and Damascos, respectively. <br /> _ <br /> 11VACz: Fire protection will commence upon the execution of these contracts <br /> with North Chatham Volunteer Fire Department. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Approve contracts with North Chatham for Southern Triangle and the <br /> Damascus Fire Districts and authorize the Chair to sign both. <br />
