-2- <br /> Significant changes over last year are as follows: <br /> a) 10% of the total participants can be four year college students. <br /> Last year only junior high, high school, technical school and <br /> dropouts were permitted to participate. <br /> b) Greater program flexibility - less emphasis on numbers per target <br /> groups. <br /> c) Funding - Total funding approximately $6,000.00 less than last <br /> year. <br /> d) Two job interviewers will be trained by the Employment Security <br /> Commission to serve Hillsborough and Chapel Hill. ESC will <br /> furnish equipment while salary payment and supervision will be <br /> the responsibility of CETA. The Job Developer will coordinate <br /> linkage of the two agencies. Employers will be furnished job <br /> requests from the private sector to our offices and referrals <br /> and screenings will be furnished by staff. <br />
