--- ORANGE COUNTY , NORTH CAROLINA <br /> i SPECIAL REVENUE FUNDS <br /> 1 <br /> The special revenue funds are used to account for the proceeds of specific revenue sources <br /> that are legally restricted to expenditure for specific Purposes. The special revenue funds of <br /> the County include. Property Revaluation Fund, Local Fire Districts and Dogwood Sanitary District. <br /> The fire districts tax rates are recommended as follows: <br /> Cedar Grove $.06 <br /> Efland ,025 <br /> Eno .04 <br /> New Hope .035 <br /> Orange ,03 <br /> Orange Grave .04 <br /> South Orange .07 <br /> E Chapel Hill .065 <br /> Southern Triangle .04 <br /> Little River .o6 <br /> A rate for the newly proposed Demascus Fire District will be recommended if the voters elect to <br /> approve the establishment of the district June 29, 1982. E <br /> 5 <br /> Monies to set aside in reserve for the next octennial revaluation of real property, as <br /> required by G. S. 153A--1500, are also made a part of this fund. The recommended appropriation � <br /> is $52,500 versus $50,000 last ,year, <br /> The Dogwood Sanitary District makes up the third component of the fund. Out of an original <br /> $80,000 in bonds sold to pay for extending a waterline to the subdivision $20,000 remains <br /> standing. Principal will cost $5,000 while interest will amount to $1 ut- <br /> ,150. !l tax rate of out- <br /> is recommended for 1982-83. <br />
