NORTH CAROLINA <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> 1 <br /> This Agreement and Lease, made this the 1st day of Jan. <br /> 1979 , between NELLIE DAVIS CHESHIRE of Orange County, North <br /> Carolina, hereinafter called lessor, and Orange County herein- <br /> after called tenant, <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> That Lessor hereby leases to Tenant that portion of the <br /> first floor of the Cheshire Building situated at the northeast <br /> corner of Churton and King Streets in Hillsborough, N.C. , not <br /> 1 now occupied by the law firm of Graham 6 Cheshire, to be used <br /> for offices and no other purpose, for t.:,e term of three (3) <br /> 1 <br /> years beginning on Jan, 1, 1979 <br /> and ending on Dec. 31, 1981, <br /> 1 The rental to be paid by Tenant shall be $2 .OQ per <br /> tri:=4=fett month, said payments to be made on or before the <br /> first day of each calendar month in advance, <br /> 1. The above agreement and lease is on the following <br /> terms and conditions: <br /> Tenant will, without any previous demand therefor, pay the 1 <br /> rent at the times and in the manner above provided; and the lessor <br /> 1 <br /> . shall have a lien upon all of the property of the tenant placed <br /> ! in said offices or building to secure payment of said rent, and <br /> Iin the event of failure to pay said rent the lessor may take <br /> possession of said property and foreclose the lien hereby createdi, <br /> as is provided by law for the foreclosure of chattel mortgages <br /> or conditional sales of personal property. <br /> 2. Tenant shall ;lot without written consent of the lessor ; <br /> 1 <br /> first endorsed on this Lease, use, or allow to be used the said , <br /> 1 <br /> premises for any purposes other than above mentioned, nor assign <br /> this lease for the whole or any portion of the term, nor underlet <br /> GME3IIIRE the whole or any part of said premises nor allow said premises <br /> MHtlIt AT <br /> or any part thereof to be occupied by any other person than <br /> 4C OCV1114 C <br /> :7174 <br /> tenant or his employees. <br /> 1 <br />
