He said rapid growth was pro- <br /> jected for Orange County and a compromise would be needed between industrial <br /> developers and private landnwnem. <br /> Josephine Barbour--Wished to comment on the Cane Creek Watershed-- <br /> She said that the dairy activity in that watershed caused it to rank 6th among <br /> 100 counties in dairy production. She suggested above ground water storage tanks. <br /> She protested the presentation of the document (the Report) to the COG before <br /> the citizens of Orange County had commented on it. <br /> Susan Smith, Planning Staff, said the Town of Hillsborough had approved <br /> the Water Resources Task Force Report with no dissenting votes. <br /> Mr. Rick Cannity, Planning Staff, reviewed the proposed amendments to <br /> the Articles of the Zoning Ordinance and explained the amendments when queltioned <br /> by members of the Boards. <br /> With no further public comments on the quarterly joint public hearing, <br /> it was adjourned. <br /> Following the joint public hearing the Board of Commissioners proceeded <br /> with its regular agenda. <br /> A. Woods Road--Oak Ridge Subdivision <br /> Commissioner Walker moved, seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson, to <br /> approve the addition of Woods Road in the Oak Ridge Subdivision to the State <br /> maintained Secondary Road System.
