DICKERSON. <br /> ROGER B.BERNHOLZ Dear Paulette: <br /> GEOFFREY E GLEDHILL <br /> DOUGLAS HARGRAVE <br /> MARTIN J.BERNHOLZ Enclosed is a document entitled ORANGE COUNTY <br /> PATRICIA STANFORD HUNT PERSONNEL POLICY AMENDMENTS which contains the actual <br /> DOUGLAS WEBB <br /> 0(Counsel amendments adopted by the Board of County Commissioners with <br /> BONNER D.SAWYER reference to the Health Department. Health Department employees <br /> (1902.1912) <br /> were brought into the County's policy only to the extent of the <br /> coverage provided in Articles X and Xl. The appropriate agenda item <br /> for consideration of this matter is as follows: <br /> Correction of the minutes of the Board for its October 26, <br /> 1981 meeting regarding amendments to the Personnel Policy. <br /> So much of the October 26, 1981 minutes as pertain to the <br /> amendment to Article I, Section 2 of the Orange County <br /> Personnel Policy should be striken and replaced with the <br /> amendment to Article I, Section 2 contained in agenda <br /> attachment <br /> Inclusion of Health Department and Social Services <br /> Department employees in the provisions of the policy relating to <br /> Article II (work week, official conduct, outside employment and <br /> travel), Article III, Section 4 (holidays - when work required), Article <br /> IV (employee benefits), Article VI, Sections 9-12 (longevity pay, <br /> overtime and payroll deductions) and Articles XIII -XVI (records and <br /> reports, conflicting policies, separability and effective date) are <br /> probably desirable but must be addressed by the Board before the <br /> Personnel Policy is amended to include Health Department and Social <br /> Services Department within their coverage. <br /> Very truly yours, <br /> frey ledhill <br /> GEG/jac <br /> 'Enclosure <br /> cc: Ken Thompson <br /> Beverly Whitehead <br />
