Other responsibilities includes <br /> assisting in coordination of county-wide recreation activities. <br /> If the position is kept in a frozen state it will necessitate a severe <br /> service reduction to all districts. <br /> Real Property Appraiser (Tax Supervisor) <br /> Responsible for appraising existing and new construction of real property <br /> for ad valorem tax purposes. <br /> This position is critical to the timely processing of tax bills. <br /> Business Personal Property Appraiser. (Tax Supervisor) <br /> Position is responsible for processing tax listings for Business/Personal <br /> Property and in discovery of non or under-listed business property. Last <br /> year this position was responsible for discovery of property that resulted <br /> in unanticipated revenue of $132,278 plus penalities, <br /> Administrative Officer I (Health Department) <br /> Administrative Office I to the County's Health Dizector. This position <br /> will be down-graded to the Account Clerk IV classification. This position <br /> has been vacant since November 13, 1981. <br /> Soil & Erosion Control Officer (Planning), <br /> Responsible for the Administration and Enforcement of the Soil <br /> & Erosion Control nrdinonce, private road, drainage, and flooding sections <br /> of the County's Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Regulations. <br /> This iti is critical to the continued operations in the Soil & <br /> Erosion Division of Planning. <br /> _ _ <br /> Truck Driver (Public Works Department) <br /> Work involves the skilled and safe operation of a packer truck used in <br /> the collection of refuse from green box locations thru-out the County. <br /> This position is critical for continued operations. <br /> Administrative Assistant I (County Manager) <br /> Performs secretarial and administrative office management duties.
