FINAL REPORT - THE RENOVATION OF SENIOR CITIZEN <br /> SPACE IN THE CHAPEL HILL MULTIPURPOSE CENTER <br /> All items in the attached Work Plan were completed by May 28 , <br /> 1981 . However, the manpower used to complete the renovations did <br /> change from the plan. The County Public Works purchased materials <br /> and installed the floor tile (item #2) and painted all required <br /> rooms (item #3). Udis Johnson , a Hillsborough contractor, was <br /> hired by the County to provide materials and do the following: <br /> install the drop ceiling (item #1 ) , install carpet in the lounge <br /> (item #4) , install paneling (item #5) , close off entrance between <br /> lounge and craft room (item #6 ) , cut two openings and install <br /> additional doors (item #7) , rewire new light fixtures and additional <br /> outlets (item #8) , install new cabinets (item #9) , install sinks <br /> (item #10) , install folding room dividers ( item #11 ) and put in <br /> new front entrances (item #12) . Jones Concrete Service was hired <br /> to widen outside front entrance and construct the handicapped ramp <br /> (item #13\ ^ <br /> Additional renovations of the bathrooms were done with Older <br /> American Act funds under Title IlI~C Nutrition amounting to $5000. <br /> Excluding County manpower contribution , the total costs for <br /> materials and labor for the renovation of the Senior Citizen space <br /> was $18,194. 94.
