With the exception of the FSA work (for which funding <br /> estimates have been detailed at a BOCC meeting), this plan minimally affects the <br /> Health Department's budget. <br /> What are the concerns or emerging issues your board has identified for the <br /> upcoming year that it plans to address, or wishes to bring to the <br /> Commissioners' attention? <br /> The political changes in Washington DC may have negative financial <br /> ramifications for the Health Department. Additionally, if the ACA is repealed, we <br /> may need to provide medical services for more people. This comes at a time <br /> when we are struggling to recruit nursing and other medical provider staff, so it <br /> will be difficult to scale up quickly to address these needs. <br />
