106 <br /> What are your Board/Commission's most important accomplishments? <br /> The Council reviewed progress toward the Parks and Recreation Master Plan <br /> 2030 (adopted November 2014), and also advised staff on a variety of topics, <br /> including: <br /> • Blackwood Farm Park <br /> • Review and comment on FY 2016-21 Capital Investment Plan projects <br /> • Reviewed and made recommendations on FY 2016-17 Outside Agency Funding <br /> Requests (recreation agencies) <br /> • Sponsored The Nature of Orange Photography Contest <br /> • Developed recommendations for a disc golf course at County Park <br /> • Worked with staff on primitive camping possibilities <br /> • Review of Orienteering Course options <br /> i <br /> • Attended meetings on and discussed and advised staff on Mountains to Sea Trail <br /> (MST) Orange County segments l% <br /> • Advised and received updates on Community Center openings, including the <br /> grand opening of the Cedar Grove Community Center in June 2016, and met <br /> with Community Center Coordinator <br /> • Opening of Little Free Library at Cedar Grove Park <br /> • Reviewed, advised and attended Hollow Rock Nature Park opening <br /> • Hosted and conducted interjurisdictional advisory board meeting in March 2016 <br /> with four topical focus areas (teen programming, county/town park collaboration ■ <br /> (Millhouse Road Park), protecting open space and natural areas, and trail <br /> connectivity.
