<br /> 5. PROJECT BUDGET AND ACCOUNTING PROCEDURE:
<br /> The local governments will pay the Consultant $20,000 for services herein described. Each
<br /> jurisdiction upon approval of the contract agrees to pay $5000 to the City of Durham through the
<br /> Durham City-County Planning Department. The City of Durham will disburse the funds to the
<br /> Consultant. If services are not performed according to this agreement, funds paid to the City of
<br /> Durham will be proportionately returned to the local governments. Funds will be disbursed to the
<br /> Consultant on the following schedule:
<br /> 25% upon agreement execution;
<br /> 25% upon completion of first draft; and
<br /> 50% upon agreement with the Advisory Committee and submission of camera-ready booklet,
<br /> If additional services are required beyond the scope of this contract, the Consultant shall be hired
<br /> at an hourly rate of$50.00 to perform services agreed upon with the local governments.
