ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING DEPARTMENT
14
306F REVERE ROAD
MLLSBOROUGH, NORTH CAROLINA 27278
116,
Memo To: Eddie Kirk
Memo From: Keith Rosemond, Erosion Control
Date: July 5, 1989
Subject: Four Birches Subdivision
After walking this site, I have the following comments
regarding the use of drainage easements.
A minimum sized drainage easement ( 15 ' on each side of
the channel ) is needed below the pond on lot 14 . I do not
see the need for requiring drainage easements on lots 3, 4 ,9 ,
11, 15, and 16. The drainage ways through these lots are
quite broad. There are no well defined channels. I think
that the lot sizes are large enough so there would be enough
room to take care of any drainage problems that might arise
without the restrictions that requiring drainage easements
would involve.
•
