ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING DEPARTMENT
• 15
306F REVERE ROAD
HILLSBOROUGH, NORTH CAROLINA 27278
""E; CEIV Dt
1EP .111121801111__J
MEMORANDUM
TO: Emily Crudup, Planner II
FROM: Warren Faircloth, Erosion Control Supervisor
SUBJECT: Falling Cedars Subdivision
DATE: June 21, 1989
This subdivision meets the Ordinance requirements for
stormwater management by having large lots, adding limited
impervious surface to each lot, and retaining a buffer of
vegetation around the perimeter of each lot to filter and
absorb runoff.
The proposed location of the new road presents problems with
construction and erosion control. There is not enough space
between construction and the property line to accommodate the
temporary sediment-trapping devices between the two streams
that converge in this area. Also, I doubt that the necessary
energy dissapator can be accommodated between the pipe outlet
and the property line. To correct this, the road should be
moved to the north to provide the necessary area.
An erosion control plan must be submitted and approved prior
to the start of timbering or clearing.
7 ' 11
A J 4Na
