14
El
-les I -1
INTEROFFICE MEMORANDUM
TO: Emily Crudup, ASLA Planner II
FROM: Paul Thames, County Engineer
DATE: June 5, 1989
SUBJECT: Falling Cedars
I have reviewed the plan for the above referenced
project and have the following comments.
1 . Remote septic fields for lots 1 & 7 are uphill from
building sites, requiring pumping facilities.
2. Falling Cedars Drive appears to lie within a natural
drainage channel in the southeast corner of the project .
This may be a problem.
3. Proposed roadway allignment disappears at the southeast
corner of lot No. 1 .
4. The existing 42" culvert @ southeast corner of lot No. 1
may not be sufficient. This cannot be determined or
checked without drainage basin information and
calculations.
5. Remote located septic drainfields may cause problems
because they require pumping facilities, force mains, and
because problems often remain undetected.
6. Site lines at intersection of Falling Cedars Drive and
SR 1102 are not indicated.
If I may be of additional assistance in this matter,
please advise.
PT/Ito
MEC6-5a
