ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING DEPARTMENT
18
306F REVERE ROAD
HILLSBOROUGH, NORTH CAROLINA 27278
evTh
2711 -
tT) ECEIVE nN
MEMORANDUM
---
TO: Emily Crudup, Planner II
FROM: Warren Faircioth, Erosion Control Supervisor
SUBJECT: Homewood Subdivision
DATE: June 21, 1989
This lot meets the Ordinance requirements regarding
stormwater management by having large lots, adding limited
impervious surface to the lot, and retaining a buffer of
vegetation around the perimeter of each lot to filter and
absorb runoff.
It appears that the amount of disturbance will exceed 20,000
square feet, which requires the submission and approval of an
erosion control plan prior to the start of the land
disturbance. Included in the plan for the road should be the
driveway to lot 4 and the joint driveway for lots 5 and 6 to
insure that the stream and buffer are protected.
I suggest that the septic lines in the right-of-way and
easements and the filter fields be installed up front instead
of one at a time as each house is built. I suggest this to
avoid the potential damage to existing lines and fields each
time a new house is built. This would also avoid tearing up
the road and driveways to install new lines.
a0001 PCVia
