87 <br /> EXISTING ORDINANCE PROVISIONS: <br /> IV-B-6. RESERVATION OF SPACE FOR UTILITIES, <br /> • IV-B-6-a. Where several utilities are available or can be <br /> anticipated to serve a subdivision according to <br /> utility extension plans, utility easements, <br /> setbacks or other ways may be required for service <br /> in that subdivision. Except where utilities may be <br /> located in approved alleys, easements, setbacks, or <br /> other ways not less than six (6) feet in width may <br /> be required on each side of rear and side lot <br /> lines. Utility easements, setbacks, or other ways <br /> may be required along said lot lines or across lots <br /> for the extension of existing or planned utilities <br /> such as poles, wires, conduits, storm or sani- <br /> sewers and water or gas lines. <br /> IV-B-6-b. It is not the intent of this section that the terms <br /> • of any easement or way required above be dictated <br /> by Orange County. Any such terms and conditions <br /> may be negotiated between the subdivider/landowner <br /> • and the utility company.
