A Stop Work Order <br /> 58 <br /> may be issued pursuant to G.S. 153A-123, if it is <br /> determined by the Zoning Administrator that <br /> irreparable injury will occur if the alleged <br /> violation j , terminated immediately. <br /> ARTICLE 21. ADMINISTRATION <br /> 21.1 Establishment of Position of Zoning Officer <br /> • <br /> The provisions of this ordinance shall be <br /> administered by the Zoning Officer, who shall be <br /> • appointed by the County Manager. <br /> 21.2 Duties of the Zoning Officer <br /> The Zoning Officer shall have the power to grant <br /> • Zoning Compliance Permits, to make inspections of <br /> buildings or premises, issue stop work orders, and <br /> revoke permits and carry out any other procedures <br /> necessary to carry out the enforcement of this <br /> ordinance. In connection with the enforcement of <br /> this ordinance, the Zoning Officer shall make all <br /> necessary determinations and interpretations as <br /> required by this ordinance. Persons aggrieved by a <br /> decision or a determination made by the Zoning <br /> Officer may appeal that action to the Board of <br /> Adjustment. (See Article 2. Subsection 2.3.7) . <br /> 21.3 Powers, and Limitations of Zoning Officer <br /> If the proposed excavation, construction, moving, <br /> alteration or use of land as set forth in the <br /> application are in conformity with the provisions <br /> of this ordinance, the Zoning Officer shall issue a <br /> Zoning Compliance Permit; however, <br /> a) Issuance of a Zoning Compliance Permit shall <br /> in no case be construed as waiving any <br /> provision of this ordinance. <br /> b) Under no circumstances is the Zoning Officer <br /> permitted to grant exceptions to the actual <br /> meaning of any clause, standard, or regulation <br /> contained in this ordinance to any person <br /> making application to excavate, construct, <br /> move, alter, or use either building, <br /> structures or land. <br /> c) Under no circumstances is the Zoning Officer <br /> permitted to make changes to this ordinance or <br /> to vary the terms of this ordinance in <br /> carrying out assigned duties. <br /> d) The Zoning Officer shall issue a permit when <br /> the imposed conditions of this ordinance are <br /> complied with by the applicant regardless of <br /> momanummumanonmEr--- <br />
