Amend ARTICLE 20. 6 PUBLIC HEARING AND NOTICE THEREOF to <br /> require any public hearing by the Board of County <br /> Commissioners to remain open until a final decision is <br /> made by the Board. The amendment would allow all <br /> information or comments received after the advertised <br /> public hearing date to be considered as relevant <br /> testimony in the decision-making process. <br /> 11. Amend ARTICLE 5.1.2 SCHEDULE FOR NON-RESIDENTIAL <br /> DEVELOPMENT to establish a set of intensity standards - <br /> Building Volume Ratio (BVR) , Landscape Volume Ratio <br /> (LSR) , and Site Volume Ratio (SVR) - for non-residential <br /> uses in addition to or in-lieu-of existing standards - <br /> Floor Area Ratio (FAR) , Open Space Ratio (OSR) , and <br /> Pedestrian/Landscape Ratio (PLR) . <br /> SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS TEXT AMENDMENTS <br /> • The proposed amendments to the Orange County Subdivision <br /> • Regulations are as follows: <br /> 1. Amend SECTION IV-B--6 RESERVATION OF SPACE FOR UTILITIES <br /> to permit dedication of water and sewer easements as a <br /> condition of approval for subdivisions located within <br /> Transition Areas as designated on the Orange County <br /> Comprehensive Plan. <br /> 2. Amend SECTION IV-B-10-b CLUSTER DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION <br /> CRITERIA to require a minimum tract size of 400,000 <br /> square feet for cluster developments within the Rural <br /> Buffer zoning district and to exclude private rights-of- <br /> 1 way from acreage calculations in determining the total <br /> 1 number of lots permitted. <br /> 3. Amend SECTION VII-D AMENDMENT PROCEDURES to require any <br /> public hearing by the Board of County Commissioners to <br /> remain open until a final decision is made by the Board. <br /> The amendment would allow all information or comments <br /> received after the advertised public hearing date to be <br /> considered as relevant testimony in the decision-making <br /> process. <br /> All interested citizens are invited to attend this <br /> hearing and be heard. Public comment will be received during <br /> the public hearing. Following the close of the public hearing, <br /> only evidence presented at the public hearing will be examined <br /> by the Planning Board and Board of Commissioners for decision. <br /> Changes may be made in the advertised proposals which <br /> reflect debate, objections and discussion at the hearing. <br />
