3 <br /> • <br /> • <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> ON <br /> THE PROPOSED ASSIGNMENT OF HOUSE AND BUILDING NUMBERS <br /> AND <br /> ON PROPOSED REVISIONS TO THE <br /> ZONING ATLAS, ZONING ORDINANCE, EROSION CONTROL ORDINANCE, <br /> AND SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS FOR <br /> ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> Pursuant to the requirements of the General Statutes of <br /> North Carolina, Chapter 153A, Articles 6, 18, 240, 323, and <br /> 343, and Chapter 113A, Article 60; and Article 20, Sections <br /> 20.5 and 20.6, and Articles 2.2.12 and 2.2.13 of the Orange <br /> County Zoning Ordinance; and Section VIII of the Orange County <br /> Subdivision Regulations, notice is hereby given that a public <br /> hearing will be held in the Superior Courtroom of the Orange <br /> County Courthouse (New) , 106 East Margaret Lane, Hillsborough, <br /> North Carolina, on Monday, August 28, 1989, at 7:30 p.m. for <br /> the purpose of giving all interested citizens an opportunity <br /> to speak for or against the following items: <br /> ASSIGNMENT OF HOUSE NUMBERS <br /> The postal service routes proposed for change from <br /> existing rural box numbers to a system of permanently assigned <br /> house numbers are as follows: <br /> 1. Rural Route 4 - Chapel Hill <br /> Route 4, Chapel Hill, includes an area west along <br /> Dairyland Road from Calvander, continuing north to Albert <br /> Road; then south along Union .Grove Church Road to <br /> intersect again with Dairyland Road; then south along <br /> Bethel-Hickory Grove Church Road to N.C. Highway 54 West, <br /> including Jo Mac Road and Hackney Road; then east along <br /> N.C. Highway 54, south along Neville Road, east along <br /> Old Greensboro Road and north along Hatch Road, to <br /> conclude on N.C. Highway 54. <br /> 2. Rural Route 2 - Hillsborough <br /> Route 2, Hillsborough, includes an area north along N.C. <br /> Highway 57 from U.S. Highway 70 up to and including <br /> Edmund Latta Road and Phelps Road; then north again from <br /> U.S. Highway 70 along N.C. Highway 86 to McDade Store <br />
