2
recommended buffer standards from Appendix D of the
Subdivision Regulations will replace Tables 12.1 and
12.2 of the Zoning Ordinance.
The proposed amendments to Article 12 will make the
landscape and buffer requirements in each ordinance
essentially the same.
Article 7.20.4.J, Landscaping and Screening (Mobile
Home Parks) , is the only section of the Ordinance
which refers to a specific requirement contained in
Article 12. The language of this section will be
amended to reflect the proposed buffer standards while
maintaining the original intent of the buffer around
mobile home parks described in Article 7.20.4J.
The proposed amendments to Article 12 and Article 7
were presented at public hearing on May 22, 1989. No
citizen comments were received at that time.
The Planning Board considered the proposed amendments
to the Zoning Ordinance at their meeting on June 19.
In order to be consistent with the landscape and
buffer requirements contained in the Subdivision
Regulations, the Planning Board recommended that the
land use buffer waiver provisions from Section rv-B-8-
g be include in the amendment to Article 12. Waiver
provisions have been included with the attached copy
of the amendment.
RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends approval of the proposed
amendments as per the Planning Board's recommendation.
EL.
