These <br /> amendments are submitted by Planning Staff and <br /> went to public hearing on May 22, 1989. <br /> The Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan <br /> was adopted by the Orange County Board of <br /> Commissioners on September 2, 1981.. Since that <br /> time, a number of amendments have been approved to <br /> _ <br /> both the Land Use Plan Maps and the text of the <br /> individual Township Components of the Land Use <br /> Element. <br /> However, a number of sections in the document <br /> dealing with the County as a whole have not been <br /> updated during the past eight years.
