Smith <br /> Manager • Mapping Supervisor <br /> • <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br /> The funds budgeted for this year (1989-90) will be used to <br /> complete the digital (cadastral) mapping in Phase IV, of Orange <br /> County' s long range plan, being the remaining parts of Chapel • <br /> Hill Township. It will also fund the beginning of Phase V, the final <br /> phase of the remapping project, which is the digital mapping of the <br /> remaining townships. <br /> This year will begin the GIS phase of the modernization of <br /> Orange County' s land records by automated processes. It will <br /> include the purchase of a engineering workstation, and various <br /> peripherals. The mapping project is scheduled to deliver a tape <br /> of digital data for Chapel Hill Township in November of 1989.
