Included among them was a <br /> discussion of the Zoning Ordinance and its relation to <br /> the Land Use Element. First adopted in September of <br /> 1981, references were made to zoning district and land <br /> use plan designations in existence at that time. <br /> Changes made to the Land Use Element and Zoning <br /> Ordinance from September, 1981 to February, 1989 and <br /> which added new district/plan categories are the <br /> subject of the proposed amendment. Specifically, the <br /> proposed amendment revised Section 4.0 of the Land Use <br /> Element to: _ <br /> 1. Reflect the zoning of Cheeks Township; <br /> 2. Reflect the adoption of zoning plans for Chapel Hill <br /> Transition Areas; <br /> and Carrboro Tr and <br /> 3. Reflect the application of the Rural Buffer zoning <br /> district and associated development standards to <br /> the Rural Buffer area designated on the Joint <br /> Planning Land Use Plan. <br /> III <br />
