3 <br /> GRANT PROJECT ORDINANCE AMENDMENT <br /> SECTION 8 PROGRAM GRANT - 1988 <br /> Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Orange <br /> County, North Carolina that, pursuant to Section 13.2 of <br /> Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the <br /> following grant project ordinance is hereby adopted: <br /> Section 1. The project authorized is the Housing Authority <br /> project described in the work statement contained in the <br /> grant agreements NC19-K104001, NC-19V104001-002 and NC19- <br /> E104001-008 between this unit and the U.S. Department of <br /> Housing and Urban Development. This project is more <br /> familiarly known as the 1988 Section 8 Project. <br /> Section 2. The officers of this unit are hereby directed to <br /> proceed with the grant project within the terms of the grant <br /> document(s) , the rules and regulations of the U.S. Department <br /> of Housing and Urban Development and the budget contained <br /> herein. <br /> Section 3. The following revenues are anticipated to be <br /> available to complete this project: <br /> Existing $1,221,555 <br /> Moderate Rehab 257,848 <br /> Voucher 90,273 <br /> Total Revenues $1,569,676 <br /> Section 4. The following amounts are appropriated for the <br /> project: <br /> Rental Assistance - Existing $1,135,852 <br /> Rental Assistance - Mod Rehab 236,388 <br /> Rental Assistance - Voucher 83,125 <br /> Administration - Existing 85,703 <br /> Administration - Mod Rehab 21,460 <br /> Total Appropriations $1,569,676 <br /> Section 5. The finance officer is hereby directed to <br /> maintain within the Grant Project Fund sufficient specific <br /> detailed accounting records to provide the accounting to the <br /> grantor agency required by the grant agreement and federal <br />
