30 <br /> accidental injury or emergency illness must be performed by <br /> a Participating Physician/Provider. All Medically <br /> Necessary follow-up medical treatment that cannot be <br /> provided by a Participating Physician/Provider, requires <br /> the Plan's prior written approval as outlined in Section v, <br /> Article 1. Members must, when possible, contact their <br /> Participating Physician or the Plan within 48 hours of an <br /> emergency hospital admission. <br /> B. Outside the Plan's Service Area <br /> Eligible Expenses for emergency medical care are Covered - <br /> outside the Plan's Service Area when receipt of Health <br /> Services cannot be delayed because delay might result in <br /> serious deterioration of a Member's health or in <br /> Disability. Members are responsible for a Copayment for <br /> Emergency Health Services. Continuing or follow-up medical <br /> treatment, related to the accidental injury or emergency <br /> illness must be performed by a Participating <br /> Physician/Provider. All Medically Necessary follow-up <br /> medical treatment that cannot be provided within the Plan's <br /> Service Area by a Participating PhysiCian/Provider requires <br /> the Plan's prior written approval as outlined in Section V, <br /> Article 1. Members must notify their Participating <br /> Physician or the Plan within forty-eight (48) hours after <br /> an Emergency Hospital Admission or as soon thereafter as is <br /> reasonably possible. Full details of the Emergency Health' <br /> Services provided shall be made available at the request of <br /> the Plan.
