• <br /> !• . . 6 <br /> ' <br /> • <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> This agreement is entered into this day of • <br /> 1 , 1989, by and between; the County of Orange <br /> ("County" ) and the Inter-Faith Council for Social Service, <br /> Inc. a non-profit corporation ( "InterFaith") . <br /> W EREAS, the County is the recipient of a $13,338 <br /> Emergency Shelter Grant; and <br /> • <br /> 4EREAS, InterFaith was designated as the subgrantee in <br /> the application; and <br /> W EREAS, by the terms of the Emergency Shelter Grant, <br /> the Co nty and InterFaith must meet certain requirements. <br /> N W, THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERATION of the premises and the <br /> mutal 4romises set forth below, the parties hereby agree as <br /> follows: <br /> 1 . As evidenced by the attached current year budget <br /> showing its source of funds, InterFaith certifies in <br /> accordance with Federal and State Emergency Shelter Grant <br /> Prograni requirements that it can and will supplement or match <br /> the Emergency Shelter Grant program funds. . <br /> 2. InterFaith will expend $13,338 in grant funds for <br /> Operations Activities by no later than June 5, 1990. No <br /> funds Will be reimbursed for expenditures incurred before the <br /> date f execution of the Grant Agreement-June 5, 1989. <br /> InterFaith will make a concentrated effort to expend all <br /> funds .5 rapidly as possible. <br /> 3. InterFaith will expend the funds in the following <br /> manner: <br /> 1 . Rehabilitation - Rosemary St. $13,338. 00 <br /> Shelter <br /> 4. Upon InterFaith's presentation of receipts of <br /> expenditures made in accordance with paragraph 3, the County <br /> shall reimburse InterFaith with grant funds. <br /> 5. InterFaith will continue the operation of the . . <br /> shelter for the homeless for at least 3 years. <br /> I <br />
