Fikes <br /> TELEPHONE NUMBER- <br /> Hillsborough - 732-8181 <br /> Chapel Hill - 968-4501 <br /> Mebane - 227-2031 <br /> Durham - 688-7331 <br /> PURPOSE: To establish a public hearing date to receive public <br /> comments regarding the County's Interim Assistance Grant <br /> Application. <br /> BACKGROUND: The Orange County Housing and Community Development <br /> Department along with the Colie Development Company is <br /> preparing a NRCD Interim Assistance Grant application for <br /> submission to the state on or about June 30, 1989. This <br /> ' application will request approximately 2.5 million dollars <br /> financing to be used in the development of housing for low <br /> and moderate income hcmebuyers in a planned subdivision, <br /> Culbreth Park. <br /> NRCD requires applicants to conduct one public hearing <br /> prior to beginning the application process and another <br /> after the application is prepared but prior to submission <br /> to the agency. The initial hearing was conducted on <br /> February 2 , 1989. Therefore, County staff proposes setting <br /> the final public hearing date for June 28, 1989 to receive <br /> citizen corments regarding the completed application. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : <br /> Establish June 28 , 1989 as the public hearing date to <br /> receive citizen comment regarding the County's Interim <br /> Assistance Grant Application. <br /> • <br /> • <br /> .
