Spang, President <br /> S-A Utilities, Inc. <br /> 2327 Englert Drive, Suite 300 <br /> Research Triangle Park, NC 27709 <br /> SUBJECT: Project Denial (WQ0000793) <br /> S-A Utilities, Inc. <br /> Amberly Subdivision <br /> • <br /> Wastewater Treatment Facilities <br /> LPP Disposal <br /> Orange County <br /> Dear Mr. Spang: <br /> Your application for a nondischarge permit for the construction and operation of <br /> a 65,000 GPO wastewater treatment facility with subsurface low pressure pipe disposal <br /> was received by the Division of Environmental Management on November 16, 1988. <br /> Subsequent design information and other supporting documentation was received on <br /> February 1, 19$9, <br /> • On February 2, 1989, a public meeting was held at the Carrboro Elementary School <br /> in order to receive public comments on .whether to issue or deny the subject permit. <br /> The meeting officer's report and recommendations have been submitted to me and I have <br /> completed my consideration of this permit request. <br /> In making my decision, I particularly considered the Environmental Management • <br /> Commissions regulations regarding "Procedures for Assignment of Water Quality <br /> Standards," 15 NCAC 2B .0100 and "Classifications and Water Quality Standards <br /> Applicable to Surface Waters of North Carolina," 15 NCAC 2B .0200.
