The property is located east and <br /> west of N.C. Highway 86 and south of Eubanks Road. The <br /> property contains approximately 135 acres. <br /> The basis for proposed rezoning is contained in the <br /> staff report included with the proposed amendment to <br /> the Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan (LUP-6-89) . <br /> Provided the Land Use Plan amendment is approved, the <br /> rezoning proposal would be consistent with the Plan. <br /> This item was presented at public hearing on April 6, <br /> 1989. <br /> The Carrboro voted to approve the proposed amendment at <br /> its April 25, 1989 meeting. <br /> The Orange County Planning Board voted to approve the <br /> proposed amendment at its May 15, 1989 meeting. <br />
