EXPANDED SCHEDULE <br /> Step i Town/County Reservoir Control Agreement <br /> Execute agreement between the County and the Town of <br /> Hillsborough whereby the details of reservoir financing, <br /> ownership, operation, maintenance, watershed protection, etc. <br /> are finalized. Complete by October 1 , 1989 <br /> Step 2 Advertise Bond Referendum <br /> Begin approximately three month process for Bond <br /> Referendum for Town of Hillsborough to obtain funding for its <br /> share of reservoir development costs, as proposed by the <br /> Town. Complete by January 1 , 1990. <br /> Step 3 Property Surveys, Appraisals, Acquisition <br /> Complete all property acquisition surveys and <br /> appraisals. Negotiate with property owners, purchase <br /> property, prepare final deeds and plats. Complete by <br /> February 1 , 1993. <br /> Step 4 Bond Referendum <br /> Hold actual referendum on sale of bonds by the Town of <br /> Hillsborough. Referendum on or about January 15, 1990. <br /> Step 5 Preliminary Engineering, Construction Surveys, Geotechnical <br /> Complete field survey of proposed dam site, lay out <br /> geotechnical boring locations; have geotechnical boring <br /> investigation and analysis report completed; determine <br /> geotechnical basis of preliminary design; confirm design <br /> concepts, property acquisition limits, reservoir water <br /> elevation, capacity, and safe yield; develop preliminary <br /> design drawings and detailed preliminary cost estimates. <br /> Complete by November 1 , 1990. <br /> Step 6 Environmental Assessment Process <br /> Environmental Impact Assessment (FIA)-document the need <br /> for proposed project, alternatives to proposed project, <br /> nature & historic inventory. Study impact on natural and <br /> human environment; accomplish impact mitigation study and <br /> negotiation. Hold Public Hearings as required. Complete by <br /> May, 1992. <br /> -3- <br />
