• . <br /> • '- <br /> 10 <br /> t'- <br /> .- . - - ------ — -- .. -- - _ <br /> P 0 Sox 337 <br /> A <br /> "I:: arrboro <br /> c- <br /> i 301 West Maur Street <br /> Cpar•oorc ND:1r...-....trOtme 275,1C <br /> ...*. -I- <br /> SP1S.•C•=;-851.1 <br /> N.C. iticK0.-.44....---4.-:,:„z„ ,_,-. <br /> The following resolution was introduced by Alderman Tom Gurganus <br /> and duly seconded by Alderman Hilliard Caldwell. <br /> A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING LUP-5-89 <br /> A JOINT PLANNING LAND USE PLAN MAP AMENDMENT <br /> TO CHANGE THE DESIGNATION ON 1.45 ACRES OF LAND <br /> ON THE EAST SIDE OF KERLEY ROAD <br /> AT THE BORDER OF ORANGE AND DURHAM COUNTIES <br /> FROM RURAL BUFFER TO TEN YEAR TRANSITION <br /> Resolution No. 47/88-89 <br /> WHEREAS, Carrboro, Chapel Hill, and Orange County adopted <br /> Joint Planning Agreement and Joint Planning Land Use Plan and Map <br /> on November 2. 1987: and' <br /> WHEREAS , the Joint Planning Agreement calls for a public <br /> hearing to be held jointly by all parties to the Agreement and <br /> for all parties to then concur on any changes to be made to the <br /> Joint Planning Land Use Plan or Map; and <br /> WHEREAS, the three parties held a Joint Planning Public <br /> Hearing on April 6, 1989 to hear several proposed amendment to <br /> the Joint Planning Land Use Map; and <br /> WHEREAS , the Carrboro Board of Aldermen supports the <br /> proposed change LUP-5-89, made by Cazwell, Inc. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE , THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF <br /> CARRBORO RESOLVES: <br /> Section 1. The Board of Aldermen approves the proposed <br /> Joint Planning Use Plan Map amendment (number LUP-5-89) , to <br /> change the designation of approximately 1.45 acres of land on the <br /> east side of Kerley Road at the border of Orange County and <br /> .Durham Counties from Rural Buffer to Ten Year Transition. <br /> Section 2. This resolution shall become effective upon <br /> adoption. <br /> The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote , <br /> received the following vote and was duly adopted this 25th day of <br /> April, 1989: <br /> Ayes: Randy Marshall, Tom Gurganus, Hilliard Caldwell, Eleanor <br /> Kinnaird, Frances Shetley, Judith Wegner, Jay Bryan <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent or Excused: None <br /> i <br />
