,-) •
•
Fast uses of the property which we are proposing to rezone
are more consistent with LC 1 zoning than with R-1 zoning.
The current structure on this property has served as both a
community cannery, as well as a kitchen and cafeteria for the
school . These uses date back to the 1930s.
We are therefore proposing that the area between our NC 2
zoning and the adjoining property to the east ( currently
zoned LC 1 ) , be zoned LC 1.
This area encompasses a total of 1.65 acres. This area -
conforms with all dimensional requirements for a lot with
LC 1 zoning as stated in Article 5 of Orange County' s
Zoning ordinance.
Contained on the following pages are maps of :
A. The area which we believe is currently NC 2. Notice
•
,-x
that this are does not actually include the school
or its parking lot.
B. The area where NC 2 could be moved to solve this
problem.
C. The proposed result of this rezoning. Current NC 2 zoning
has been moved to the western boundary of the property
line and the residential area which was between the NC 2
and LC 1 is zoned LC 1.
•
•
/ I
•
