F62 - <br /> At installation, large trees shall be not less than ten (10) feet <br /> high; small trees not less than six (6) feet high; large shrubs <br /> not less than twenty-feur (24) inches high; and small shrubs not <br /> less than fifteen (15) inches high. In any event, plant material <br /> required for the purloose of landscaping and/or screening shall be <br /> of such initial size to reach the recuired height within tow (2) <br /> growing seasons after iestallation. Ecrticulturally and esthetically <br /> appropriate earth berms may also be used to contribute to overall <br /> required heights. Construction procedures shall be utilized which <br /> preserve and replace existing topsoil. <br /> The owner or tenant of the property shall be responsible for the <br /> continued eropereaintenance of all landscaping materials, and • <br /> shall keep them in a ;roper, neat and, orderly autearance, free from <br /> refuse and debris, at all times. All landscaped areas should be <br /> provided with a readily available water supply. All unhealthy or <br /> dead plant material shall be replaced by the owner or developer <br /> within one (1) year of the issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy <br /> or by the next planting season, whichever comes first. Orange County <br /> shall insure continued maintenance of all landscaping material using <br /> the enforcement authority of Article 23 of the Zoning Ordinance of <br /> Orange County. <br /> .12,12 Refuse Collection <br /> All developments shall provide secure, safe, and sanitary facilities <br /> for the storage and pickup of refuse. Such facilities shall be con- <br /> . venient to collection and shall be appropriate to the type and size <br /> of the development being served. <br /> • <br /> Except for single and two-family dwellings, all refuse storage <br /> facilities shall be screened by a solid wall, fence, tight evergreen <br /> hedge, or combination of the above. Such screening shall be of sutfi- <br /> . <br /> cient height and design to effectively screen the facility from the view <br /> from adjacent residential uses and streets, and from adjacent eroperties. <br /> 12.13 ?eouirements for Special Use 1=ermits, <br /> The following Special Uses shall provide screening as required below <br /> or as required in Section 12.10; <br /> (a) Extraction of Earth Producet - as required in Section 8.8.1 with <br /> a one hundred (100) foot buffer, <br /> • <br /> (b) Landfills - as remixed in Section 8.8.2 with a one hundred (100) <br /> foot buffer <br /> (c) Public Utility Stations and Substations, Water Treatment, Sewage <br /> Treatment, Switching Stations, Telephone Exchanges-Type A with a <br /> Landscape Plan as required in Section 8.8.3. <br /> (d) Group Care Facility As required in Section 8.8.4. <br /> General AViation Airports, STOL and Eeliports - as required in <br /> • <br /> Section 8.8.8. <br /> (f) Adult Uses - Tye A with a thirty (30) foot buffer <br /> (g) junkyards - As required in Section 8.3.10 with a thirty (30) foot <br /> buffer. <br /> • <br /> 17-7 <br />
