(919)965-7700 (9191 942-8541 <br /> KiiarriOL.-nli.--;::7-t 1=12 <br /> November 18, 1987 <br /> Emily Crudup <br /> Orange County Planning <br /> 306F Revere Road <br /> Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br /> RE: McLennan's Farm <br /> Courtesy Review <br /> Dear Emily: <br /> The Town of Carrboro would have the following comments on this <br /> proposed development: <br /> If located within a Carrboro designated watershed zoning <br /> district, the following items would be needed on plans: <br /> - a fifty foot buffer would be required on either side of the <br /> intermittent streams located on this site <br /> - proposed plans for the tract of land to the north would be <br /> required (ie. , as a phased development) <br /> - impervious surface limitations (maximum allowed and proposed) <br /> should be on the plans <br /> - trees having a diameter greater than 18" should be located on <br /> landscape plans <br /> - the agency or organization which will be responsible for <br /> maintenance of the proposed sewer treatment facilities should <br /> be clearly noted on the plans <br /> - copies of all state permits required for the sewage disposal <br /> systems should be submitted prior to issuance of any building <br /> permits <br /> -the exact nature of all potential recreation activities <br /> (passive or active) expected for the recreation space should be <br /> addressed on plans. Also the distance between the edge of the <br /> nitrification field and the existing stream is not clear. <br /> -proposed grading and clearing limit lines would be needed <br /> -proposed stormwater culvert sizes should be indicated, and <br /> hydrologic calculations verifying their adequacy should be <br /> provided. Detailed drawings of the culvert & road crossings <br /> are also needed. <br />
