Since the beginning <br /> of the joint partnership, the tipping fee has been used to finance <br /> the cost of landfill , maintenance operations, equipment and related <br /> services. The reserve from the tipping fee has been used to <br /> purchase land, equipment and related services or materials. <br /> The current tip fees are: <br /> General trash $10/ton <br /> Construction waste and bulky waste <br /> Ash from U.N.C. Power Plant $12/ton <br /> $15/tan <br /> Asbestos <br /> Pick-up trucks or trailers $100/ton <br /> each <br /> h <br /> eac <br /> Cars <br /> $3 each <br /> The proposed 1989-g0 tip fees are: <br /> General trash <br /> Construction wastes and bulky wastes $15/ton <br /> $17/ton <br /> Ash from the U.N.C.
