0 7 <br /> • <br /> following: <br /> owning or keeping, tar any. pArmsfe, <br /> 20 or more animals <br /> sellina and/or training quAnd dogs <br /> or security dogs <br /> the keeping of more than five, (5) <br /> animals at any given time for the <br /> purpose of breeding, boardina, <br /> rehabilitation. <br /> ARTICLE 8 SPECIAL USES <br /> 8.8.11 Kennels Or Riding Stables/Academies (Class it <br /> Class II Special Use) <br /> 8 .8.1.1.1 Additional Information <br /> In addition to the information required in <br /> Subsection 8.2 and 8.8, the following shall be <br /> submitted as part of the application. • <br /> a) Plans for all kennels, barns, exercise yards, <br /> riding arenas, pens and related improvements, <br /> includina signage. <br /> b) Site plan showing the improvements listed in a) <br /> above, other structures on the same lot, and <br /> structures on adjacent property. <br /> 8.8.11.2 Standards of Evaluation <br /> The following specific standards shall be used in <br /> deciding an application for approval of this use: <br /> a) The site is of adequate size to protect adjacent <br /> • properties from adverse effects of the kennel or <br /> riding stable/academy. <br /> b) No part of any building, structure, runway or <br /> riding arena, in which animals are housed or <br /> exercised shall be closer than 150 feet from a <br /> property line, except property occupied by the <br /> owner/operator of the kennel. These minimum <br /> distances shall not apply if all portions of the <br /> facility, in which animals are housed l are wholly <br /> enclosed within a building. <br /> c) Any kennel which is not wholly enclosed within a <br /> building shall be enclosed by a security fence at <br /> least 6 feet in height, which shall include <br /> primary enclosures or runs. <br />
